Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee has just issued a decision to establish an Arts Council in the field of performing arts for the period 2025 - 2027.
According to the decision, the Council will be chaired by Mr. Phan Thai Binh, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; the Vice Chairman of the Council is Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hong, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; The Council also has the participation of representatives of relevant departments, branches and sectors and experts in the field of arts of the province.
The Council is responsible for analyzing, evaluating, and advising on provincial-level performing arts activities, serving as a basis for the Provincial People's Committee and the Organizing Committee of major holidays of the province to consider and decide on implementation.
In addition, the Provincial People's Committee also established a Secretariat to support the professional work of the Council. The Council will dissolve itself after completing its tasks in the period 2025 - 2027.
