Relevant units attended the meeting on the afternoon of May 6. On the afternoon of May 6, in Tam Ky City, the Office of the People's Committee of Da Nang City coordinated with the Department of Science and Technology of Quang Nam Province to hold a meeting to review, evaluate and propose the implementation of information systems to serve the arrangement and merger of administrative units between Quang Nam Province and Da Nang City.
At the meeting, the Department of Science and Technology of Quang Nam Province reported on the operation of the Quang Nam Provincial Electronic Information Portal and the Administrative Procedure Information System, and proposed a plan to transfer and merge these platforms into the new system of Da Nang City.
The Department of Science and Technology of Quang Nam Province proposed to transfer the status quo of human resources, equipment, technical infrastructure, and technology model from the Quang Nam Provincial Electronic Information Portal to merge with the new Da Nang Provincial Electronic Information Portal. At the same time, it proposed to officially recruit 3 current contract employees to stabilize the organization.
Regarding the Administrative Procedures Information System, this is a platform provided by VNPT, deployed on a trial basis since April 17, 2024, and has processed nearly 850,000 records, an average of more than 32,000 records per month.
The estimated cost of renting the system is about 6 billion VND for 3 years, along with about 800 million VND/year for operating costs, which are borne by the Quang Nam Information Technology - Communications Center.
At the meeting, Mr. Dinh Quang Cuong - Deputy Chief of the Office of Da Nang City People's Committee agreed with Quang Nam's proposal to transfer the existing staff, infrastructure, and technology model of Quang Nam Portal to merge into Da Nang City Portal (new). At the same time, for the Administrative Procedures Information System, the parties agreed to move towards the form of service leasing after the merger, ensuring continuity in serving people and businesses.
