On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Vietnam Doctors' Day (February 27, 1955 - February 27, 2025), on the afternoon of February 21, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee, Vice Chairman of the Quang Nam Provincial People's Council Nguyen Cong Thanh visited and congratulated the cadres, civil servants, and workers at the 115 Emergency Center, the Medical Examination Center, the Drug-Cosmetic-Food Testing Center, and the Forensic Examination Center.
The delegation was accompanied by the Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh Phuong, representing the leaders of the Department of Health.
Visiting and presenting gifts to congratulate the medical staff, doctors, cadres, and workers of the 115 Emergency Center, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Cong Thanh affirmed the important role and highly appreciated the efforts of the 115 emergency forces in the past time. Despite the difficulties in human resources and means, the doctors, officers, civil servants, and workers here have always promptly and quickly carried out urgent tasks for the people's health.
Visiting and talking with the medical staff of the Medical Assessment Center, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Cong Thanh affirmed the important role of the Center in the tasks it is performing; supporting functional sectors to complete procedures on social policies, supplementing documents related to the law, etc.
Visiting the Drug-Cosmetic-Food Testing Center, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Cong Thanh sent his best wishes for health and happiness to the leadership, pharmacists, civil servants, and workers. Mr. Nguyen Cong Thanh emphasized that testing drugs-cosmetics-food is one of the essential tasks, directly affecting the health of the people. Accordingly, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council hopes that the collective leaders, pharmacists, and workers will promote the tradition of the industry, strictly implement testing work; coordinate with related sectors to strengthen the management of the quality of drugs, cosmetics, and food on the market.
Visiting the Forensic Center, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council acknowledged and praised the efforts of the medical staff and doctors there. With the nature of the work directly related to the law, the work is difficult and complicated, requiring high technical skills as well as a steadfast spirit.
At the places visited, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Cong Thanh presented flowers, and gifts, and encouraged the collective leaders, medical staff, doctors, civil servants, and workers.
