The Standing Committee of the People's Council of Quang Nam province held a regular meeting in November 2024

The Standing Committee of the People's Council of Quang Nam province highly appreciated the coordination in preparing and organizing the recent meeting. From September to now, the People's Council of Quang Nam province has successfully held 2 meetings, decided on 32 contents, carried out personnel work, and issued 22 resolutions. After the meeting, the Standing Committee of the People's Council of Quang Nam province directed the Committees and Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the People's Council of the province to send a report on the results to the Central agencies according to regulations.

Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee has implemented 19/20 resolutions issued at the two recent sessions of the Provincial People's Council (term X). Resolution No. 29/2024/NQ-HDND on social assistance levels has not been implemented, and the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs is consulting. The 28th session is scheduled to take place from December 4 to 6, 2024, with 38 registered contents. The Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council requested the People's Committee and relevant agencies to report on the implementation of these contents.

At the meeting, representatives of leaders of assigned departments, branches and committees of the Provincial People's Council informed about the preparation progress, proposed issues of concern to develop and complete the draft reports, projects, and submissions that the Provincial People's Committee is expected to submit at the year-end session.

Concluding the meeting, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Nguyen Duc Dung, highly appreciated the results of the Provincial People's Council's activities in the past. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Council requested the Provincial People's Committee, branches, and Provincial People's Council Committees to coordinate in reviewing the progress of preparing the registered contents for the upcoming session, prioritizing contents according to the law and urgent to serve the goals of socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security.

At the same time, direct specialized agencies to urgently complete the contents, ensure quality, balance resources and effective impact of mechanisms and policies, in accordance with the Party's policies, the State's laws and practical situations and submit documents to the session for consideration and decision according to regulations.
