On the afternoon of February 10, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Phan Thai Binh had a working session to listen to reports from sectors and localities on organizing the closing ceremony of the National Biodiversity Restoration Year - Quang Nam 2024.
Mr. Tran Trung Hau - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Tam Ky City said that the closing ceremony is called "Closing Ceremony of the National Biodiversity Restoration Year - Quang Nam 2024", the main ceremony is expected to take place on the evening of February 21, 2025, at 24/3 Square.

Here, collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements will be honored and rewarded, contributing to the success of "National Biodiversity Restoration Year - Quang Nam 2024".
In addition, there will be an exhibition of paintings, photos, and specimens on biodiversity, and an exhibition of Quang Nam OCOP products. Tam Ky City People's Committee organized the release of fish to restore the Dam River ecosystem and announced the Decision to recognize heritage trees (Thach Tan village, Tam Thang commune).
The delegates attending the meeting discussed and gave specific comments on the propaganda work; and agreed on the exhibition's contents, guest members, program script; gratitude to international organizations; reception, logistics, security, and order; etc.
The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Phan Thai Binh requested the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to coordinate with the Tam Ky City People's Committee and related units to closely follow the plan to implement the work; the assigned units must proactively implement, ensure the requirements of solemn, professional, effective organization, ensure political security, social order and safety.
The closing ceremony is the event that concludes the series of activities of the National Biodiversity Restoration Year - Quang Nam 2024, through a summary to evaluate the activities, programs, and projects implemented in 2024; promote, effectively develop and spread the values of "biodiversity restoration - living in harmony with nature".
