In the jubilant atmosphere of the new spring, commemorating the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025), this morning (February 4), the People's Committee of Quang Nam province solemnly organized the launching ceremony of "Tree Planting Festival to Forever Remember Uncle Ho" in the Spring of At Ty 2025.
Attending the launching ceremony were comrades Luong Nguyen Minh Triet - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Le Van Dung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Le Tri Thanh - Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, along with comrades in the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, leaders of the Provincial People's Council, Provincial People's Committee and departments, branches and sectors of the province.
Before entering the launching ceremony of the "Tree Planting Festival" in the Spring of At Ty 2025, the delegates held a ceremony to offer flowers and incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs at the provincial martyrs' cemetery.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Quang Buu said that 2025 is the final year of implementing the agricultural development plan for the period 2021 - 2025, the Project to plant 1 billion trees and the Sustainable Forestry Development Program for the period 2021 - 2025 and according to the plan, Quang Nam province strives to plant 11.161 million trees, including: planting scattered trees of 10.465 million trees; planting concentrated trees in protective forests, special-use forests and production forests of 0.696 million trees, equivalent to 696 hectares.
After the launching ceremony, leaders of Quang Nam province and a large number of people participated in planting hundreds of trees in the Cam Mountain area (Tam Phu commune, Tam Ky city).
