This morning, March 24, Thang Binh district held the opening ceremony of the "Thang Binh New Day - Pride and Aspiration" Camp. This is an event in a series of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Thang Binh's homeland (March 26, 1975 - March 26, 2025).
The camp took place from March 24-26, with the participation of 31 camps and more than 1,800 campers from 20 communes, towns, and the Bloc of agencies, units, and schools across the district.
Ms. Phan Thi Nhi - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Thang Binh district said that the camp is not only an opportunity to meet and exchange but also a place to inspire, arouse pride, and nurture the aspiration to build an increasingly developed and beautiful Thang Binh.
The activities within the framework of the camp will be an opportunity to affirm the determination, solidarity, and belief in a bright future, firmly following the path chosen by the Party and Uncle Ho; expressing deep gratitude to those who went before, those who sacrificed for the independence, freedom and development of Thang Binh today.
On this occasion, the People's Committee of Thang Binh district also organized the opening of the exhibition of socio-economic achievements "Thang Binh - 50 years of construction and development".
The exhibition aims to look back at the outstanding achievements that the Party Committee, government, and people of Thang Binh district have achieved in the past half-century, especially in economics - politics, culture - society, and national defense - security.
Through the exhibition, Thang Binh district will introduce its potential and strengths in economy, industry, trade, tourism, etc. Thereby, attracting the attention of domestic and foreign investors and businesses. The event is an important stepping stone for the district to reach stronger development goals in the future" - Ms. Phan Thi Nhi informed.
