This morning, January 9, 2025, Tam Ky City People's Committee inaugurated the digital library and STEM classrooms at 03 campuses: Ly Tu Trong Secondary School, Ly Thuong Kiet Secondary School, and Tran Quoc Toan Primary School.
Attending were Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Lan - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of Tam Ky City Party Committee, Mr. Nguyen Cong Thanh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and Mr. Tran Anh Tuan - Vice Chairman of the Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee, along with leaders of the Departments and branches of the province and city.
After nearly 3 months of construction and implementation, the project was completed and put into use on December 22, 2024, with a total investment of over VND 11 billion, from the city budget and provincial budget support.
It is known that the digital library and modern STEM classrooms create a creative learning space for students. The goal is to help improve access to knowledge and enhance learning efficiency. This is an essential trend in the digital transformation era, especially when online education and online-in-person hybrid education are becoming more and more popular.
According to Mr. Nguyen Minh Nam - Vice Chairman of Tam Ky City People's Committee, STEM Classrooms and Digital Libraries have brought many positive results to schools, especially in improving the quality of education and creativity of students. In the era of technology 4.0, education cannot stand outside the digital transformation wave. Recognizing that importance and aiming to bring a modern, smart, dynamic learning environment, arousing the spirit of creativity and proactive learning of students, contributing to building quality human resources in the future; with the determination to be the pioneer of Quang Nam province to deploy a new educational model, piloting Stem teaching and digital libraries in schools and education levels, aiming to build Tam Ky city into a bright spot in digital transformation of education in Quang Nam province.
