On the morning of January 7, in Tam Ky City, the Institute for Community Development Studies (ACDC) in collaboration with the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Quang Nam Province organized a job fair for people with disabilities with the theme "Opportunities for everyone" in 2025.
Attending were Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan, representatives of relevant departments and branches, sponsors, project management units, enterprises/labor recruitment units of Quang Nam Province, Da Nang City, and more than 270 people with disabilities of working age who are looking for jobs in the province.
This is the first time that Quang Nam Province has organized a job fair specifically for people with disabilities. The activity is part of the "Integration 1" project implemented in Thua Thien Hue, Quang Tri, and Quang Nam provinces in the period of 2022 - 2026. The project is funded by USAID. The National Action Center for Chemical and Environmental Consequences (NACCET) under the Ministry of National Defense is the Project Owner. ACDC is one of the project partners under the management of CCIHP.
The event aims to raise public awareness of people with disabilities, increase opportunities, enhance the status of people with disabilities, remove barriers, enhance the ability to live independently, promote equal integration of people with disabilities in society, and create opportunities to access suitable jobs for people with disabilities. At the same time, the event also makes connections between businesses with recruitment needs and people with disabilities with job needs.
The job fair for people with disabilities "Opportunities for everyone" is accompanied by 23 recruitment, enrollment, and vocational training units in Quang Nam and neighboring provinces and cities. The units participating in the Job Fair have extremely diverse industries, from textiles, components, garment processing, and information technology to green technology, food delivery and ride-hailing applications, handicrafts, etc.
The Job Fair for People with Disabilities "Opportunities for No One" promises to open up many new job opportunities for people with disabilities and is also an event that will leave a strong impression on people with disabilities in Quang Nam province in 2025./.
