This afternoon, January 2, 2025, the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission held a conference to summarize the work in 2024 and deploy tasks in 2025. Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission Huynh Thi Thuy Dung and Deputy Heads of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission Le Quang Quynh; Le Thi Thuy co-chaired the conference.
Attending the conference were comrades Le Cong Ky - Deputy Head of the Central Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission in Da Nang City. On the Quang Nam province side, there were comrades: Nguyen Duc Dung - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Thi Thu Lan - Secretary of the Tam Ky City Party Committee; Ho Quang Buu - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and representatives of the leaders of the Provincial People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and departments, branches, sectors and localities.
According to the report at the conference, in 2024, the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee issued 12 documents to lead and direct the implementation of mass mobilization work, notably Project No. 23 on replicating typical models of "Skilled Mass Mobilization" in the province, summarizing 15 years of the "Skilled Mass Mobilization" emulation movement. The whole province has registered and organized the implementation of over 2,050 "Skilled Mass Mobilization" models, and nearly 1,550 models have been recognized.
The quality of citizen reception and dialogue with the people has been improved; handling complaints and denunciations from organizations and citizens is associated with drastic direction and resolution of urgent, outstanding, and long-standing issues.
Speaking at the conference, Comrade Nguyen Duc Dung - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council highly appreciated and commended the efforts and endeavors of the Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee and the team of cadres and civil servants working in mass mobilization at all levels in 2024.
Comrade Nguyen Duc Dung suggested that in 2025, the province's Mass Mobilization sector should pay more attention to propaganda, mobilization, thorough explanation, and persistent persuasion so that people can correctly understand, agree with, and support the implementation of the Party's policies and the State's laws. Implementing the general policy on the work of streamlining and streamlining the apparatus of the political system, it is expected that by February 20, 2025, the provincial level will complete the merger of the two agencies, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Education Committee and the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee, into the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Education Committee.
