(QNP) - On the morning of November 20, the People's Committee of Quang Nam province held a working session with the Steering Committee for Administrative Reform, Digital Transformation, and Project 06 provinces on deploying the database, Project 06, and scoring the Index for serving people and businesses. Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Nam Province, Ho Quang Buu, chaired the meeting.
At the meeting, representatives of departments and branches actively participated in discussions, pointed out the shortcomings and difficulties encountered in the implementation process, and proposed solutions to help promote the province's digital transformation process.
Concluding the meeting, the Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Nam Province, Ho Quang Buu, emphasized that to improve the effectiveness of propaganda work, there needs to be determination and consensus from all cadres, civil servants, as well as active participation from everyone, every household. Currently, the work is carried out daily instead of weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis, so a more novel method of propaganda is needed.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested departments, branches, and sectors to strengthen propaganda work strongly, especially focusing on the field of digital transformation. The Department of Information and Communications will play a key role in implementing this task. To ensure effectiveness, the Department of Information and Communications needs to regularly update and list the number of propaganda articles on digital transformation every week on media platforms and report to the Provincial People's Committee.
The Department of Home Affairs is requested to thoroughly review the organization of the Steering Committee in the districts. The goal is to ensure that by December, the organizational structure in the districts will be completed, synchronized, and meet the same standards as at the provincial level.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Information and Communications to review the resolutions of the Provincial Party Committee related to digital transformation make proposals, and prepare content to pass the resolution of the Provincial People's Council for the 2026-2030 term.
Regarding the database, the sectors must proactively manage their databases. In particular, the household registration database must set a target of 100% completion. Every week, it is necessary to compile data and report to the Provincial People's Committee. The People's Committee will directly direct and have a plan to handle districts that are performing poorly.
The Department of Information and Communications is assigned to manage and operate the data integration center to ensure effective operation. The operating regulations are available and require the Department of Information and Communications to develop a plan to connect to the national system to reduce infrastructure rental costs. In particular, attention should be paid to network security issues to ensure information security and data confidentiality.
