(QNP) - On the morning of November 18, Quang Nam Medical College held the opening ceremony of the 2024 - 2025 school year. Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan came to present flowers and give instructions.
In the 2023-2024 school year, with the attention and leadership of Party committees at all levels, the Party and Government, solidarity, efforts, and determination to overcome difficulties, the school has achieved remarkable results.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Bui Long An, Acting Principal of Quang Nam Medical College, said that in the 2023 - 2024 school year, the school recruited 274/300 new students, reaching 91.3% of the assigned target; training work is increasingly focused.
Currently, the school is training 5 college majors and 1 vocational secondary major, the current training scale of the school is 536 students. In the coming time, the school will continue to promote the application of teaching methods in all faculties and adjust and improve the quality of student assessment tools to ensure the reliability and value of exams.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Tran Anh Tuan, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Nam province, suggested that the school should continue to pay attention to enrollment work to meet and exceed the targets assigned by the Provincial People's Committee; improve the quality of training to meet standards. At the same time, take better care of the material and spiritual life of the staff and lecturers; implement plans to develop the majors, and strive to gradually meet the standards of a high-quality college.
On the occasion of the 42nd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, November 20, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan wished the lecturers, employees, and students of Quang Nam Medical College good health, creativity, and successful completion of assigned tasks.
