On the afternoon of January 14, the Provincial Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Nam province met with nearly 500 intellectuals, artists, and journalists on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025.
Attendance at the meeting were comrades: Luong Nguyen Minh Triet - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Duc Dung - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Le Van Dung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Le Tri Thanh - Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.
At the meeting, Comrade Le Van Dung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation informed about the province's outstanding achievements in 2024 and key tasks in 2025.
Accordingly, in 2024, Quang Nam will continue to develop both economically and socially, especially with stable development in the fields of industry, agriculture, tourism, and infrastructure investment. Quang Nam province continues to maintain a stable GDP growth rate, reaching about 7% - 8%. Quang Nam focuses on developing the processing and manufacturing industry, especially industrial parks in the localities of Thang Binh, Dien Ban, and Duy Xuyen.
The construction of new rural areas has also achieved many positive results. By the end of 2024, the whole province had 137/193 communes recognized as meeting NTM standards, reaching 71%. The political system of Quang Nam province continues to be consolidated and improved. The recruitment, appointment, and rotation of cadres are carried out openly and transparently, ensuring that the team of leaders has good capacity and qualities...
After listening to many enthusiastic and responsible opinions of representatives of the leaders of associations and intellectuals, artists, and journalists, Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet said that 2025 is the year toward the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Quang Nam, the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee. To effectively carry out these tasks, the provincial leaders hope and call on the team of intellectuals, artists, and journalists of the province to continue to promote the tradition and will of the people of Quang, to contribute their talents, intelligence, and knowledge to build and develop Quang Nam to become more and more prosperous.
