On January 24, 2025, Secretary of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee Luong Nguyen Minh Triet signed Decision No. 1790-QD/TU of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on the establishment of the Steering Committee on science, technology, innovation and digital transformation in the province.
The provincial leaders attended the Quang Nam Bridge at the National Conference on Breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation organized by the Central Party Secretariat on January 13, 2025.
Accordingly, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee decided to establish the Steering Committee on Science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation in the province.
The Steering Committee is responsible for advising the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee to lead, direct and implement the tasks of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation development in the province.
The Steering Committee is responsible for developing regulations, programs, and work plans and assigning specific tasks to each member of the Steering Committee to effectively lead the implementation of the functions of developing science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation in the province.
During its operation, documents signed by the Head and Deputy Heads of the Committee shall use the seal of the Provincial Party Committee according to regulations.
The Provincial Party Committee Office is the standing agency of the Steering Committee.
