(QNP) - On the morning of November 15, Quang Nam College held the opening ceremony of the new school year 2024-2025, celebrating the 42nd anniversary of Vietnam Teachers' Day and announcing the decision, awarding the certificate of quality accreditation of vocational education institutions.
Attending the opening ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Cong Thanh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Mr. Tran Anh Tuan - Vice Chairman of the Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee, and leaders of Departments, branches in the province and more than 1,000 students of the school.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Vu Thi Phuong Anh, Principal of Quang Nam College, said that in the 2024-2025 school year, the school enrolled 1,715/1,750 students, reaching a rate of 98%. This is the highest enrollment result in recent years, thereby recognizing the efforts of the school's teachers.
According to Associate Professor Dr. Vu Thi Phuong Anh, the training scale is increasing, the number of students in all majors increases each school year, and the whole school has 3,700 students. The training quality is increasingly improved, increasingly meeting social needs, and is highly appreciated and interested in recruitment by businesses. In addition, the cooperation with companies and job creation for students after graduation has been increasingly expanded and maintained throughout the years. All specialized faculties have cooperated with businesses in coordinating program development and internship practice to improve training quality and job creation for students.
Speaking at the Opening Ceremony, Mr. Tran Anh Tuan - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Nam province acknowledged and commended the efforts of the staff, teachers, and lecturers of Quang Nam College. Management, teaching, and learning have improved a lot, and the quality of teaching and learning has been increasingly improved, effectively implementing the goals and tasks of education and training, actively contributing to the overall achievements of the socio-economic development of Quang Nam province. In particular, the school has connected and cooperated with many large enterprises and corporations to send students to work in Japan after graduation. This is important, marking a major change in the quality of training at the school.
