The working group surveyed landslides on the road.

At the survey, Lieutenant Colonel Tran Huu Ich, Commander of the Provincial Military Command, said that the mobile road to the east of Cu Lao Cham Island is about 11.4km long, stretching from Bai Bac intersection to Bai Huong, about 3.5m wide, completely concreted, completed and put into use in 2015. However, due to storms in 2024 and early season thunderstorms in 2025, this road has been eroded in many sections, with about 40 landslides recorded through the survey. This erosion has affected the lives of people, ourists cannot visit and enjoy the road as well as the stops associated with relics and scenic spots on the road and also causes difficulties for the Storm Warning Lighthouse for fishermen to exploit and catch at sea as well as patrol activities for national defense tasks.

After conducting a field survey at the severe landslide sites, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Phan Thai Binh requested the Department of Construction to coordinate with the Provincial Military Command to conduct a detailed survey, specifically assess the situation, natural conditions, current status, and propose effective solutions to urgently develop an emergency plan to handle the landslide sites, ensuring the entire route is open while serving the traffic of people and ensuring military and defense tasks.

On this occasion, the delegation of the Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee also visited the accommodation, living, and working place of Battalion 70 and presented gifts to encourage the officers and soldiers of the unit.
