On the morning of March 20, the Department of Science and Technology held a ceremony to place a signboard on the Quang Nam Provincial Data Integration Center project - this is a competition project to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Quang Nam province (March 24, 1975 - March 24, 2025) and the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee (March 28, 1930 - March 28, 2025).
Attending the ceremony were Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Dung; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Quang Buu and representatives of the leaders of the provincial departments, branches and sectors.
Quang Nam Provincial Data Integration Center is one of the main items of the project "Building e-government, Digital Government of Quang Nam province in the period of 2021-2025", approved by the Provincial People's Committee in Decision No. 1407/QD-UBND dated May 25, 2022. The project officially started construction in December 2022 and was completed in October 2024, with a total investment of up to 249 billion VND, of which the central capital is 224 billion VND and the local capital is 25 billion VND.
The center is equipped with a modern information technology infrastructure system, including a 73.44m2 server room, a 132TB storage system, 32 physical servers, 271 virtual servers, meeting the huge computing and storage needs of existing and planned shared application and service systems in the future. In addition, the Center is also equipped with a comprehensive security system such as anti-APT attack solutions, Web application firewall (WAF), multi-factor authentication, and information security monitoring system (SOC).
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Quang Buu emphasized that the completion of the Data Integration Center not only contributes to improving the management and operation capacity of the provincial government, but also creates a solid foundation for the development of information technology applications, ensuring network safety and security and seamless data connection between departments, branches and sectors. The project also demonstrates the province's strong determination to accelerate the progress of digital transformation, contributing to improving the quality of service to the people and improving the investment and business environment.
