(QNP) - This afternoon, October 15, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee had a courtesy meeting with Mr. Juan Carlos Fernandes Juarez - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Venezuela to Vietnam. Also attending the meeting were leaders of the Provincial People's Committee Office and the Department of Foreign Affairs.
Sending best wishes to Mr. Juan Carlos Fernandes Juarez - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Venezuela to Vietnam, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Dung reviewed the good relationship between Vietnam and Venezuela. During the resistance war against the US to save the country of the Vietnamese people, along with the wave of sympathy and support from peace-loving people around the world, the Venezuelan people raised a movement of solidarity in support of Vietnam.
Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Dung expressed his gratitude when the Ambassador attended the 60th Anniversary of the Death of Hero Nguyen Van Troi (October 15, 1964 - October 15, 2024) organized by the People's Committee of Dien Ban town in coordination with the Provincial Youth Union. At the same time, he requested the Ambassador to continue providing practical support to Dien Ban town - the hometown of Heroic Martyr Nguyen Van Troi in the fields of education, infrastructure construction, etc.
Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Dung and Ambassador Juan Carlos Fernandes Juarez emphasized that the traditional friendship and comprehensive partnership between the two countries continue to be promoted and strengthened on all three pillars: Party diplomacy, State diplomacy and people's diplomacy.
The Ambassador said that despite facing many difficulties, the Venezuelan economy is recovering. Mr. Juan Carlos Fernandes Juarez hopes that Quang Nam Enterprises will come to explore investment in Venezuela, especially THACO Truong Hai, which can build a factory here to provide quality products to the Venezuelan and regional markets.
The Ambassador hopes that this visit and courtesy call to Quang Nam province will strengthen the cooperative relationship between the two countries in general and the relationship between Venezuela in general and Quang Nam province in particular.
