On the morning of August 20, Vice Chairman of Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan chaired a working session with relevant departments, branches, and branches on the progress of allocation and disbursement of remaining funds to implement the National Target Programs.
Reporting at the meeting, the NTM Coordination Office said that as of July 30, 2024, the disbursed capital from 2022 and 2023 transferred to 2024 is 44,119/177,810 million VND, reaching a rate of 25%. The disbursed capital in 2024 is 146,598/632,739 million VND, reaching a rate of 23.2%. The Provincial NTM Coordination Office recommends that the Provincial People's Committee and the Department of Planning and Investment soon consider allocating the remaining 2024 provincial budget so localities and units can continue implementing the Program according to the proposed plan.
For the National Target Program for sustainable poverty reduction in 2021-2025, by the end of August 12, the entire province had disbursed 21%. Of which, capital from 2022 and 2023 extended to 2024 has been disbursed at 36%; Disbursed capital in 2024 reaches 11%. Adjusting the state budget estimate according to Resolution 111, the current total estimate after adjustment is 498,901 million VND. However, after adjusting according to Resolution 111, there are still some units and localities that continue to submit requests for adjustments, affecting the capital disbursement progress.
For the National Target Program for socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas, the total capital for implementing the Program in 2024, including extended capital for 2022 and 2023, is 1,367,036 million VND. To date, the total disbursed capital has reached 17%. Reporting at the meeting, the Provincial Ethnic Committee said it would disburse capital from the Program to ensure progress in 2024.
Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan requested relevant departments and branches to coordinate and review lists of programs and projects as a basis for adjusting and supplementing capital sources, ensuring the implementation of the set capital disbursement schedule. The National Target Program offices urgently urge, support, and guide localities to speed up disbursement progress. Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan emphasized that departments, branches, and localities do not transfer or return previously allocated capital and must commit to a completion timeline.
