The Provincial People's Committee has just issued an official dispatch requesting departments, branches, and localities to implement Resolution No. 119/NQ-CP dated August 7, 2024, of the Government on the scope and subjects of saving 5% of regular expenditure in 2024.
Specifically, provincial departments, branches, associations, and unions; People's Committees of districts, towns, and cities implement savings, cut 5% of regular state budget expenditure; Deduct fee revenue, retain career revenue and other revenue according to the regime assigned at the beginning of 2024 for regular spending according to the provisions of Resolution No. 119/NQ-CP dated August 7, 2024 of the Government and report the amount of reduced and saved expenses to the Department of Finance (before August 16, 2024) according to the attached form to summarize and report to the Ministry of Finance according to regulations.
The Chairman of the People's Committee at the district and commune levels decides to reduce and save 5% of the regular expenses of affiliated agencies and units, detailed by each spending area.
The Department of Finance presides over synthesizing and advising the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to decide on the amount of reduced and saved expenses of provincial departments, branches, sectors, associations, and unions; at the same time, synthesize the reduced and saved expenses of the whole province; advise the Provincial People's Committee to report to the Ministry of Finance before August 20, 2024, as required.
