On May 20, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Nam organized a conference to foster professional work in journalism and communication on human rights in 2025.
The conference was attended by more than 500 trainees who are reporters and journalists in the province; leaders of district-level People's Committees and departments of culture, science, and information of districts, towns, and cities; officers in charge of the culture-society of communes, etc.
The reporter informed about 2 topics, including: Party spirit, orientation in journalism, and journalism activities with the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation; Some basic issues on human rights work and the situation and results of human rights work in the first 6 months of 2025 in the province.
Delegates were informed about press activities in the province, affirming that Quang Nam press is a pioneering and core force in the fight against wrong and hostile viewpoints, protecting the Party's ideological foundation in the new situation.
At the same time, they updated the current press trends, orientations, and press activities in the coming time to strengthen and ensure the Party's character in press activities.
Delegates were also informed about Vietnam's viewpoints on human rights; human rights work in the province in recent times; orientations on communication work on human rights, the implementation of policies and laws on labor, employment, social security, state management of religion, etc.
This is an activity to concretize the implementation of Plan No. 2769 of the Provincial People's Committee on implementing the Project on communication on human rights in Vietnam in 2025 in Quang Nam province.
Following this training course, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized a delegation of about 40 reporters to go on a field trip to La Dee and Dac Pring communes, Nam Giang district, from May 27 to May 29, 2025. The goal is to increase propaganda articles, promote the image of the country, propagate and honor the efforts and achievements in ensuring human rights of Vietnam in general and Quang Nam province in particular.
