On the evening of May 15, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Quang Nam held the opening ceremony of the Exhibition displaying OCOP products, Quang Nam agricultural products in 2025.
Attending the ceremony were Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Dung, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee Huynh Thi Thuy Dung, Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province Nguyen Thi Thanh Phuong; representatives of the leaders of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Da Nang city.
In his opening speech, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Quang Nam province Nguyen Xuan Vu said: This is a key activity in the series of events "Displaying and introducing OCOP products, Quang Nam agricultural products; connecting trade between suppliers with export enterprises and trade promotion organizations in 2025"; thereby introducing consumers to have access to products, contributing to promoting fast and sustainable product consumption; connecting trade between suppliers and export enterprises and trade promotion organizations, enterprises, cooperatives, and craft villages in the province.
The exhibition gathered more than 150 booths introducing 350 OCOP products, typical and typical agricultural products of Quang Nam and neighboring provinces, such as Ngoc Linh, Tra My cinnamon, Tien Phuoc pepper, agarwood, Cua Khe fish sauce, handicrafts, fine arts...
On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee organized the announcement and awarding of Certificates to 02 excellent OCOP products, achieving the national 5-star OCOP certification: Quy Thu Grilled Coconut Cake of Quy Thu Production - Trading Company Limited (Que Xuan 2 Commune, Que Son) and SAPHRATON health protection food of Sam Sam Company Limited (Tra Linh Commune, Nam Tra My). Thereby, praising and recognizing the persistent efforts of OCOP entities on the journey to enhance the value of Vietnamese agricultural products.
The exhibition will take place from May 15 to 18, 2025, at 24/3 Square, Tam Ky city.
