On the morning of September 23, the Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Nam province Le Tri Thanh chaired an online conference and directly deployed the Action Program to implement the Resolution of the 11th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Quang Nam province, term 2024 - 2029.
Vice Chairmen of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province Nguyen Phi Hung, Nguyen Van Mau; Nguyen Thi Thanh Phuong co-chaired the conference, attended by representatives of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels, representatives of member organizations of the provincial Front.
At the conference, the representative of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee presented the Action Program to implement the Resolution of the 11th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in Quang Nam province, term 2024 - 2029. The program focuses on setting out several breakthrough tasks during the term such as: Continuing to promote the role, improving the quality and effectiveness of the supervision and social criticism work of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations in the province; Promoting the role of chairing, negotiating and unifying with member organizations to focus on mobilizing union members, association members and people to participate in building self-governing, united, prosperous and happy residential areas; Focusing on mobilizing resources to support the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the province, etc. In particular, several specific targets are: 100% of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels establish and effectively operate community electronic information pages; 100% of works and investment projects from the people's contributions and commune-level budgets are supervised by the Community Investment Supervision Board.
By the end of 2025, the Front at all levels strives to mobilize resources to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses according to the set plan; over 90% of families and residential areas (villages, residential groups) in the plains meet cultural standards. For mountainous areas, over 90% of families and at least 88% of the residential regions (villages, residential groups) in mountainous areas meet cultural standards; At least 95% of residential areas in the area organize the "Great National Unity" Festival well; etc. The program also sets out fundamental solutions to implement the set targets.
Through that, it contributes to strengthening the core political role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in building the great national unity bloc, promoting democracy, ensuring the people's mastery, and strongly spreading the aspiration to build Quang Nam into a fairly developed province of the country by 2030.
