On the afternoon of December 17, the Standing Vice Chairman of the People's Committee Phan Thai Binh chaired a working session with departments, branches, and the People's Committee of Tam Ky City to approve the plan to summarize and close the National Biodiversity Restoration Year - Quang Nam 2024.
According to the leader of the People's Committee of Tam Ky City, the closing program is called "Closing Ceremony of the National Biodiversity Restoration Year - Quang Nam 2024", scheduled to take place on January 10, 2025.
In addition to the main ceremony taking place on the evening of January 10 at 24/3 Square (Tam Ky City), the event also has special accompanying activities such as displaying biodiversity specimens, displaying paintings, and photos on biodiversity, and displaying OCOP products of Quang Nam province.
Quang Nam organizes many activities in response to the National Biodiversity Restoration Year. In the photo, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment coordinates with the People's Committee of Quang Nam province to organize a program to celebrate the International Day for Biological Diversity 2024.
Announcing the decision to recognize heritage trees (roi mat tree); planting trees to restore the ecosystem; release fish to restore the Dam River ecosystem; cutting the ribbon to recognize heritage trees (roi mat tree), and visiting Ky Anh tunnel.
The delegates attending the meeting discussed and gave specific comments on propaganda work; building a summary report, program script, and art performances; rewarding individuals and groups with outstanding achievements, finance, reception, logistics, ensuring security and order, etc.
After listening to the comments, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Phan Thai Binh basically agreed with the draft summary plan; and agreed to add the activity of announcing the decision to establish Cu Lao Cham Nature Reserve (Hoi An City).
Comrade Phan Thai Binh also requested the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to coordinate with the People's Committee of Tam Ky City and related units to review and complete the plan, assign specific tasks to each sector, and ensure the summary ceremony takes place successfully.
