The People's Council of the province considered and dismissed the position of Member of the Provincial People's Committee for the term 2021 - 2026 for Colonel Le Trung Thanh - Commander of the Provincial Military Command. Previously, Colonel Le Trung Thanh was appointed by the Minister of National Defense to hold the position of Deputy Chief of Staff of Military Region 5 from November 1, 2024.

The Provincial People's Council also considered and dismissed the position of Member of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021 - 2026 term for Mr. Pham Hong Quang - former Director of the Department of Information and Communications. Mr. Pham Hong Quang was transferred to the position of Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department on November 4, 2024.

As a result, 100% of the Provincial People's Council delegates present agreed to dismiss; the resolution confirmed the dismissal results for Colonel Le Trung Thanh and Mr. Pham Hong Quang.

On November 4, 2024, the Chairman of the Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee decided to accept Mr. Nguyen Duc Binh - Deputy Secretary of the Thang Binh District Party Committee to work and appoint him to the position of Director of the Department of Information and Communications of Quang Nam.
