On the morning of September 12, the People's Committee of Quang Nam province organized a dialogue conference between provincial leaders and youth union members in the province with the theme "Promoting the pioneering spirit of youth in digital transformation, start-ups, and entrepreneurship". The conference was held in person and online.
Comrade Luong Nguyen Minh Triet - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Dung chaired the conference.
Speaking at the opening of the conference, Secretary of the Quang Nam Provincial Youth Union Pham Thi Thanh said: In the past time, Youth Union chapters at all levels in the province have synchronously deployed many solutions to promote the pioneering spirit of youth in participating in digital transformation, start-ups, and entrepreneurship; there have been many good models, effective and creative ways from the grassroots.
At the dialogue conference, youth union members frankly contributed ideas and shared and made recommendations on issues surrounding digital transformation and entrepreneurship.
Director of the Department of Information and Communications Pham Hong Quang answered questions about IT applications and digital transformation.
From the discussions of the youth, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Dung also raised the issue of further debate with functional sectors in 4 major groups, including digital transformation policy; policies and resources for youth start-ups; information technology infrastructure; controlling and limiting the impact of bad and toxic information, negatively affecting the thoughts and feelings of youth. Accordingly, in each group of issues, the departments and sectors also explained more about related mechanisms and policies, clarifying the role and opportunities of youth.
A representative of the Provincial Social Policy Bank answered questions about mechanisms and policies to support capital for youth start-ups and businesses.
Speaking at the direction, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Luong Nguyen Minh Triet requested the Departments, Boards, and sectors to create conditions for the youth union to take the lead in promoting the application of digital transformation.
The Provincial Party Secretary assigned responsibilities to the Quang Nam Provincial Youth Union, clarified and assigned specific tasks to each youth group, such as rural youth, youth in enterprises, youth in state management agencies, youth in schools, etc. Strengthening the organization of youth activities in the online environment; promoting the youth force to participate in the Community Digital Technology Group; focusing on organizing training and equipping knowledge for youth in applying digital transformation, starting a business, etc.
