On the evening of May 27, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Nam coordinated with the People's Committee of Dac Pring Commune (Nam Giang) to organize the exchange program “Warm Border Love” in Hamlet 49A (Dac Pring Commune).
According to Mr. Nguyen Hong Lai - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the exchange program is part of the activities of the Press Delegation on a field trip to border communes in a series of events to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025).
Through the field trip, journalists and reporters were able to exchange and approach the lives of people in border areas, learn about the implementation of policies for ethnic minorities, and the work of caring for people's lives.
Thereby, it will accurately reflect the effectiveness of achievements and socio-economic development in border areas, the work of protecting the sovereignty and security of the land border of the border guards, the solidarity between the army and the people, etc.
At the exchange program, the delegation presented 20 gifts (worth 300,000 VND/gift) to poor students in the Dac Pring commune. Local artists and people performed the art of Dinh Tut and the Pel Pel dance of the Gie Trieng ethnic group to serve the delegation.
