This afternoon, February 3, the Provincial Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Nam province held a spring meeting to listen to a report on the organization of the Lunar New Year 2025.
Comrades: Luong Nguyen Minh Triet - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Duc Dung - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Le Van Dung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Le Tri Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee chaired the conference.
On the occasion of the Lunar New Year of At Ty 2025, the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, departments, branches, and localities organized incense offerings, visits, and gifts from the President and the province to revolutionary veterans, policy families, beneficiaries of social protection, poor households, children in difficult circumstances, village elders, village chiefs, prestigious people in ethnic minorities, workers, laborers, etc with a total budget of nearly 133 billion VND.
Localities have completed the payment of the January and February 2025 allowances for beneficiaries of social protection according to regulations.
Strictly and effectively implement tasks and practical solutions to ensure food safety during the Lunar New Year and the 2025 spring festival season, especially regulations on ensuring food safety at markets.
Notably, the total number of visitors and tourists to Quang Nam during the 2025 Lunar New Year is estimated at 395,000, an increase of 30% over the same period in 2024, of which international visitors are estimated at 157,000, an increase of 40% over the same period in 2024, and domestic visitors are estimated at 238,000, an increase of 14% over the same period in 2024.
At the conference, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Dung acknowledged the participation of all levels and sectors in taking care of Tet for the people, ensuring that people can enjoy a joyful, warm, safe, and economical Spring Festival.
Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Dung requested leaders of departments, branches, and sectors to thoroughly grasp the staff, civil servants, public employees, and workers to immediately start working and planning after Tet.
At the conference, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Luong Nguyen Minh Triet said that 2025 is a turning point in the roadmap to prepare the province to enter a "new era". In the immediate future, focus on the work of arranging, streamlining the apparatus, and stabilizing the organization before February 20. At the same time, removes difficulties for businesses, bottlenecks in site clearance, and plans to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Quang Nam's liberation. Especially the work of preparing for Party Congresses at all levels" - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Luong Nguyen Minh Triet emphasized.
