Recognizing Tien Phuoc as a new rural district in 2024
On May 26, on behalf of the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha signed Decision No. 100/QD-TTg recognizing Tien Phuoc district (Quang Nam) as a new rural district in 2024.
The Prime Minister assigned the People's Committee of Quang Nam province to be responsible for announcing and rewarding according to regulations. At the same time, he directed the People's Committee of Tien Phuoc district to continue to maintain and improve the quality of the criteria, focusing on economic and environmental criteria to ensure sustainability in new rural construction.
To date, Tien Phuoc has 14/14 communes recognized by the People's Committee of Quang Nam province as meeting the new rural standards, with a 100% achievement rate. Tien Canh and Tien Phong communes have been recognized as meeting the advanced new rural commune standards. 24/63 villages have been recognized as meeting the model new rural village standards. Tien Ky town is recognized as meeting civilized urban standards, and the rate of towns meeting civilized urban standards in 2024. The average income per capita/year in the district reaches 58.6 million VND/person/year. The multidimensional poverty rate in 14 communes in Tien Phuoc has decreased to 2.25%.
