Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan works with localities on the implementation of the National Target Program
On the afternoon of April 14, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan had a working session with the People's Committees of the following localities: Tien Phuoc, Hiep Duc, Que Son, Nui Thanh, Dai Loc, Tam Ky, Phu Ninh, Thang Binh, Duy Xuyen, Dien Ban, Hoi An to listen to reports on the implementation of the National Target Programs in the localities.

According to the report of the Department of Finance, the total plan for 2025, including previous years extended to, the districts/cities/towns: Tam Ky, Dien Ban, Hoi An, Dai Loc, Nui Thanh, Duy Xuyen, Thang Binh, Phu Ninh, Que Son, Hiep Duc, Tien Phuoc: is 669.9 billion VND, of which the central budget source is more than 261 billion VND, the provincial budget is more than 383 billion VND, and the district budget is more than 24.7 billion VND. Through the synthesis of data from the program offices, the disbursement result up to April 10, 2025, is more than 48 billion VND, reaching a rate of 7%.
In particular, the National Target Program for Poverty Reduction: For 11 districts/cities/towns in the plains and lowland areas, only the Career capital is allocated with a total budget transferred from 2022, 2023, 2024 to 2025 of more than 5 billion VND, currently not disbursed. In 2025, there is no detailed capital plan allocated.
Socio-economic program in the Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas: The total capital plan for 2025 for 03 districts (Hiep Duc, Tien Phuoc, Dai Loc) is more than 66.6 billion VND, according to the current report, but it has not been disbursed.
For the National Target Program for New Rural Development, the total capital plan for 2025 of 11 districts/cities/towns is more than 598 billion VND. According to the report of the Provincial New Rural Development Coordination Office, more than VND 48.3 billion has been disbursed, reaching a rate of 8%.
Reporting at the meeting, the districts said that they are accelerating the implementation of the National Target Programs. Representatives of the district leaders also said that although there are many difficulties and obstacles in the implementation process, they will strive to allocate and disburse 100% of the planned capital according to the set target.
Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan requested the districts to focus on disbursing the extended capital in April 2025; completely completing the capital allocation in April 2025; speeding up the implementation progress according to the roadmap, ensuring that by June 30, the disbursement rate is 50% and each following month, the disbursement rate is at least 10%. Review and accelerate the final settlement of programs and projects, complete before the merger and reorganization of district and commune-level apparatus, etc.
