Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan inspects the actual progress of construction and renovation of martyrs' cemeteries in Duy Xuyen district
This morning, January 9, 2025, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan and leaders of relevant departments and branches inspected the actual upgrading and renovation of a number of martyrs' cemeteries in Duy Xuyen district.
According to the report of the leaders of the Duy Xuyen district People's Committee, in the past, the locality has upgraded and renovated 5 martyrs' cemeteries in Duy Hoa, Duy Tan, Duy Trung, Duy Phuoc, Duy Thanh communes with a total investment of nearly 23 billion VND.
The scale of investment is to renovate and upgrade martyrs' graves, monuments, stele houses recording martyrs' names, ceremony grounds, electricity and water systems, trees, and other auxiliary items.
Up to now, the Duy Tan commune martyrs' cemetery has been completed and put into use. Meanwhile, the martyrs' cemeteries in Duy Trung and Duy Phuoc communes have completed about 80-97% of the workload and aim to be completed before the Lunar New Year 2025. At the same time, the martyrs' cemeteries in Duy Hoa and Duy Thanh communes are actively under construction and are to be completed on schedule.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan acknowledged and commended the efforts of Duy Xuyen district authorities and related sectors and units in upgrading and renovating the above 5 martyrs' cemeteries in the past time.
