Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee holds 18th Conference, 22nd Term
This morning, December 3, Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee held the 18th Conference (22nd Term) to assess the implementation of the Resolution in 2024 and discuss the direction and tasks for 2025; discuss and approve important contents. Comrades Luong Nguyen Minh Triet - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Duc Dung - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Le Van Dung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the Conference.
In 2024, in the context of the world, regional, and domestic situation, there are many advantages and difficulties intertwined. However, with the efforts, Quang Nam has gradually overcome difficulties, recovered each quarter higher than the previous quarter, implemented the Resolution in 2024, and achieved many positive results, it is expected that 14/18 targets will be achieved and exceeded compared to the Resolution.
The socio-economic situation in 2024 will recover positively compared to 2023, with the following quarter higher than the previous quarter. GRDP growth will reach about 7.2%. GRDP scale will increase by more than 15 trillion VND. Budget revenue will exceed the set plan (about 10%, of which domestic revenue will reach 120%).
Regarding the report on the results of inspection, supervision, and party discipline in 2024, the direction and tasks for 2025, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Party committees will focus on implementing Notice No. 581, dated November 30, 2023, of the Central Inspection Commission, reviewing, considering responsibilities, and disciplining organizations and party members who violate the law; overcoming shortcomings and violations pointed out by the Central Inspection Commission.
Emphasizing that 2025 is the final year of the term, the year to organize Party Congresses at all levels towards the 23rd Provincial Party Congress and the 14th National Party Congress, the year with many major holidays of the country and the province, and also the year in which the Central Committee is determined to promote development with the spirit of acceleration and breakthrough, combined with streamlining the organizational apparatus, Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet raised the theme of 2025, identifying 5 major tasks: Focus on organizing Party Congresses at all levels well/ promoting growth in the spirit of acceleration and breakthrough/ Streamlining the organizational apparatus/ Digital transformation/ Combating negativity and waste.
In the immediate future, focus on leading and directing proactively continuing to deploy plans to be ready to respond to natural disasters and unusual weather developments. Pay attention to implementing social security policies well, visiting, encouraging, giving gifts, and taking care of Tet for policy beneficiaries, people with revolutionary contributions, workers, and people in difficult circumstances during the Lunar New Year 2025, ensuring that everyone can enjoy a warm, joyful, safe, and healthy Spring and Tet, leaving no one behind" - Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet emphasized.
