Carefully prepare financial and budgetary contents to be submitted to the 28th session of the 10th term Quang Nam Provincial People's Council
(QNP) - This morning, November 6, Vice Chairman of the Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee Tran Nam Hung chaired a working session with the Department of Finance and related departments and branches to listen to reports on budget expenditure norms for several fields and socio-political activities of the province to be submitted to the 28th session (the last session of the year), the 10th term Provincial People's Council.
Specifically, the 6 contents to be submitted to the 28th session of the 10th term Provincial People's Council include Report on the state budget revenue and expenditure situation in 2024, the state budget allocation plan in 2025 and the 3-year state budget plan for 2025-2027; Report on thrift practice and waste prevention in 2024; Report on the budget settlement in 2023; Report on the operation of the State financial funds outside the budget managed by the province in 2024, tasks in 2025; Regulations on the reception, visit and congratulation regime for several subjects implemented by the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels; Regulations on expenditure levels for industrial promotion activities in the province.
At the meeting, Director of the Department of Finance Dang Phong and related sectors analyzed and evaluated the results of the implementation of the State budget revenue and expenditure in 2024. Mr. Dang Phong said that the State budget revenue in the province in 2024 is estimated to reach nearly 25,000 billion VND, reaching 105.8% of the estimate and equivalent to the previous year's revenue.
Of which, domestic revenue is 20,676 billion VND, reaching 102.9% of the estimate. Revenue sources reached and exceeded the estimate from Truong Hai automobiles, hydropower, and Nam Hoi An activities. Local budget revenue reached over VND 44,321 billion, reaching 142.8% of the estimate. The estimated local budget expenditure in 2024 is VND 31,368 billion, estimated to be implemented in 2024 is VND 44,566 billion.
The contents expected to be submitted to the 28th session of the People's Council were implemented by the Department of Finance in accordance with the provisions of law, within its authority, and in accordance with the budget management situation in the province.
After listening to the opinions of the delegates attending the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Nam Hung basically agreed with the reports and projects drafted by the Department of Finance. At the same time, he requested the Department of Finance to complete the reports, supplement appropriate financial and budgetary issues, and fully meet state regulations before submitting them to the Provincial People's Council. Along with that, it is also necessary to monitor and prepare explanations when the Committees and delegates of the Provincial People's Council raise issues and request explanations.
