Deploying driving test and exam monitoring equipment

This morning, October 19, the Department of Transport and Quang Nam Police co-chaired and coordinated with relevant agencies to deploy model 17 Driving test and exam monitoring equipment.

Model 17 driving test and exam monitoring equipment was piloted at the Driving Test Center of Phuc Hoang Ngan Company Limited (located in Tam Dan commune, Phu Ninh).

This is one of 43 models implementing tasks in Project 06 of the Government, deployed to use and integrate readers and mobile devices to control and accurately identify test takers, preventing test takers from cheating when participating in the driving test.

The Department of Transport is piloting model 17 in the car driving test for candidates of courses 52/24B1 (4901024B11012), 53/24B1 (4901024B11013), 63/24B2 (49010K24B2011), 28/24C (49010K24C003) and candidates who retake the test due to absence or failure at the test sessions of Phu Ninh Driving Vocational Training Center; candidates of courses K12 (4900124B11003), K281B2 (49001K24B2003) and candidates who retake the test due to absence or failure at the test sessions of Quang Nam College; candidates who retake the test to reissue the Driver's License (due to the Driver's License being overdue).

Mr. Le Quang Hieu - Deputy Director of the Department of Transport informed that to effectively implement driver training and testing, especially to improve the effectiveness of monitoring theoretical and testing activities, the unit coordinated with Viettel Quang Nam to pilot the model of "Driver testing and testing monitoring equipment" to serve the monitoring and identification of candidates participating in car driving tests organized by the unit.

Implementing the plan under the direction of the Provincial People's Committee, the Department of Transport coordinated with agencies including the Department of Information and Communications, the Provincial Police, and the software support unit, Viettel Quang Nam. By September 2024, the software of the Viettel Quang Nam unit had met the requirements for piloting model 17.
