Quang Nam Provincial leaders meet with female leaders and managers
(QNP) - On the occasion of the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20, 1930 - October 20, 2024), the 14th anniversary of Vietnamese Women's Day, the Provincial Committee for the Advancement of Women organized a discussion and meeting with female leaders and managers of Quang Nam province.
Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Le Van Dung; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial Committee for the Advancement of Women Tran Anh Tuan chaired the discussion and meeting.
Also attending were Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission Huynh Thi Thuy Dung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Cong Thanh and female leaders and managers of departments, branches, and localities.
Speaking at the workshop, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan said: This workshop and meeting with female leaders and managers at the provincial level aims to listen to the sharing, proposals and recommendations of female leaders and managers at the provincial level in the spirit of Resolution No. 11-NQ/TW of the Politburo on "Women's work in the period of promoting industrialization and modernization of the country" and Directive No. 21-CT/TW of the Secretariat "on continuing to promote women's work in the new situation". At the same time, it is an opportunity to look at and evaluate the current status of female cadre work, thereby raising awareness of the position and role of women and the importance of female cadre work in the period of promoting industrialization and modernization of the country; contributing to promoting gender equality, soon realizing gender indicators in the political field to contribute to the construction and economic development of the province.
Sending congratulations to female officials holding management and leadership positions, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Dung acknowledged and highly appreciated the contributions of female leaders and managers to the province in the past time. At the same time, he hoped that female leaders and managers would strive and unite to create a common voice in implementing gender equality for the advancement of women.
