On the morning of October 9, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee held a working session with mass organizations assigned by the Party and the State. Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Le Tri Thanh, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Nguyen Phi Hung, and the Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Nguyen Thi Thanh Phuong co-chaired the meeting.
Speaking at the meeting, the Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Le Tri Thanh, acknowledged and highly appreciated the sense of responsibility of the mass organizations assigned by the State. Although the operating conditions of the associations still have many difficulties and limitations, they have fulfilled their responsibilities and roles well, contributing to the political stability and economic development of the province.
Mr. Le Tri Thanh emphasized that the task of the Front is to support and assist member organizations, first of all, socio-political organizations, then mass organizations assigned by the Party and the State. Accordingly, through this working session, we aim to grasp the operational situation of the associations, share and listen to, and accept recommendations, limitations, and difficulties to have a basis for proposing solutions to remove obstacles, contributing to helping the associations confidently carry out their assigned tasks.
At the working session, the associations focused on discussing and sharing difficulties in the process of operation. In general, the associations all encountered difficulties in terms of content and methods, and the quality of the Association's activities was not high, and there were not many innovations. Activities in some branches still had many limitations, were not proactive, and were not active. The annual budget support for the Association was very limited, there was no budget for training, fostering members, and movement activities; meanwhile, the budget collected from the Association's social mobilization sources was very difficult. There was a lack of key staff at all levels of the Association. Some associations do not have stable working offices or have degraded, etc. The associations have also proposed support for operating costs, creating favorable conditions for infrastructure, working offices, supplementing staff, etc.
