Reporting at the working session, teacher Le Minh Tho, Principal of Duy Tan High School, said that the school's enrollment area includes 6 communes and wards in the eastern region, including 4 communes and wards of Tam Ky, Tam Tien commune (Nui Thanh), and Binh Nam (Thang Binh). The school has 78 staff and teachers, 1,247 students, and 32 classrooms.

Built in 2014 and completed in 2017, the school has 24 rooms, including 20 classrooms. Phase 2 includes a multi-purpose hall, library, physical education area, embankment, and fence that has not been implemented yet.

Despite low enrollment, thanks to the efforts of teachers and students, the school has achieved many positive results: the high school graduation rate in the 2023-2024 school year reached 99.7%, with 24 provincial-level excellent student awards, ranking 22nd in the province (up 8 places compared to the previous year).

The school aims to achieve level 3 quality accreditation and level 2 national standards by the 2026-2027 school year (currently, 7 criteria have not been met). The school proposed that the province pay attention to allocating capital to invest in building a multi-purpose house, a standard library, a public house, and a teacher's garage and renovating doors, hallways, and schoolyards. Tam Ky City alone has decided to support more than 4.7 billion VND to build a physical education area.

After listening to the opinions of the departments, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan commended the school's management staff and teachers for their efforts to overcome difficulties to improve the quality of teaching and learning.

At the same time, he emphasized the need to strengthen moral education and lifestyle for students. Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan agreed with the school's recommendations and suggested that the school coordinate with Tam Ky City to complete the site planning and construct the remaining items. The Department of Education and Training needs to make an investment plan to submit to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and decision.
