Quang Nam implements documents and directives on building learning and learning promotion models
On the morning of September 30, the Steering Committee for Building a Learning Society in Quang Nam province held a conference to disseminate and implement documents and directives on building learning promotion organizations and developing learning models.
Attending the conference were the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Tran Anh Tuan, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Nguyen Cong Thanh, members of the Steering Committee, and representatives of the leaders of the Learning Promotion Associations at all levels.
At the conference, delegates were informed and implemented the key contents of the Circular on Regulations on assessment and recognition of "Learning Units" at district and provincial levels; the plan to implement the Movement "The whole country competes to build a learning society, promote lifelong learning from 2023 to 2030" in Quang Nam province; Guidelines for rewarding achievements in the Movement "The whole country competes to build a learning society, promote lifelong learning from 2023 to 2030" in Quang Nam province.
It is known that in the past time, the work of promoting learning, promoting talents, and building a learning society in Quang Nam has achieved many positive results, contributing to spreading the movement widely to localities, families, and clans.
Currently, the whole province has 18 district-level science and technology associations; 8 agency and unit learning promotion associations; 225 commune-level learning promotion associations; 1,059 village and block learning promotion associations; 8,747 learning promotion committees of all kinds (schools, clans, religions, fellow countrymen, solidarity groups, etc.). From 2019 to the present, all levels of learning promotion associations in the province have mobilized more than 363 billion VND. Thereby, more than 1 million scholarships and rewards with an amount of nearly 307 billion VND have been granted.
To date, the province has more than 287,300 learning families, 2,145 learning clans, 1,034 learning communities, and 179 commune-level learning units. Nearly 210,000 people have registered for learning among citizens.
The provincial Association for Learning Promotion has mobilized more than 2 billion VND, providing 352 scholarships worth more than 1.37 billion VND; the district association for Learning Promotion has mobilized more than 39 billion VND, providing more than 126,000 scholarships worth 36.7 billion VND...
