On the afternoon of October 2, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Chairman of the National Committee on Digital Transformation, chaired an online conference to deploy the expansion of the pilot of electronic health books and issuing judicial records via VNeID nationwide.
The conference was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long. At the Quang Nam Bridge, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Nam Hung attended and chaired the conference.
In his opening speech, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh assessed that the conference marked an important step in the process of national digital transformation, deploying essential services for the people.
The Prime Minister emphasized that the ultimate goal in building a digital government, digital society, digital citizens, and developing a digital economy is to serve the people. The Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and Resolution 52 of the Politburo on several guidelines and policies to proactively participate in the Fourth Industrial Revolution all require accelerating the digital transformation process, building a digital government, digital society, digital citizens, and developing a digital economy.
In his concluding remarks, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh highly appreciated the careful preparation and organization of the conference; agreed with the content of the reports, discussions, and comments, and assigned the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Health, and the Ministry of Justice to coordinate with the Government Office to absorb the comments, complete and submit to the Prime Minister and Chairman of the National Digital Transformation Committee for promulgation the Conclusion of the Prime Minister and Chairman of the National Digital Transformation Committee for unified implementation in the coming time.
The People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities resolutely deploy the issuance of judicial records and electronic health books via VNeID in their localities, to be completed in 2024; urgently upgrade the administrative procedure settlement system to ensure seamless connection with the professional software of the Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Health, Vietnam Social Security, to be completed in 2024; review and clean up data on judicial records, criminal records, criminal record deletion, synchronize, shorten the time for issuing certificates and processing administrative procedures for people, to be completed in 2024.
The Ministry of Health continues to complete the electronic health book via VNeID so that people can use it instead of paper medical examination and treatment books to be completed in 2024.
Strengthen guidance for medical examination and treatment facilities and people to implement electronic health books via VNeID. Research and develop electronic health books for children, especially vaccination information (from birth) linked to the VNeID of parents and guardians. Guide hospitals to deploy electronic medical records, research, and establish electronic medical records for all citizens, etc.
