17th Conference of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee, 22nd Term

At the conference, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Luong Nguyen Minh Triet quickly announced the results of the 10th Conference of the 13th Party Central Committee. The conference took place from September 18, 2024, to September 20, 2024, in Hanoi, under the chairmanship of General Secretary and President To Lam.

The conference discussed the following contents: (1) Draft Political Report to be submitted to the 14th National Party Congress. (2) Summarizing several theoretical and practical issues on the socialist-oriented renovation process over the past 40 years in Vietnam. (3) Draft Report on 5 years of implementing the 10-year Socio-Economic Development Strategy 2021 - 2030; directions and tasks for socio-economic development in the 5 years 2026 - 2030. (4) Draft Report assessing the implementation of the Socio-Economic Development Plan in 2024, and the projected Socio-Economic Development Plan in 2025. Report on assessing the implementation of the State budget in 2024, the State budget estimate in 2025; The 3-year National Financial and Budget Plan for 2025 - 2027. (5) On summarizing the personnel work of the 13th Party Central Committee and developing the Personnel Work Direction of the 14th Party Central Committee; Introducing personnel for the Politburo and Secretariat for the 14th tenure, 2026 - 2031; Introducing additional personnel for the Central Executive Committee of the 14th tenure, 2026 - 2031. (6) Amending and supplementing Decision No. 244-QD/TW, dated June 9, 2014, of the Central Executive Committee of the 11th tenure on promulgating the Election Regulations within the Party. (7) Drafting a report summarizing the work of Party building and the implementation of the Party Charter to be submitted to the 14th National Party Congress. (8) Policy on investing in high-speed railway on the North-South axis. (9) Policy on establishing Hue city directly under the Central Government. (10) Personnel work: Electing additional members of the Central Inspection Committee and some other important contents.

At this Provincial Party Committee Conference, Comrade Nguyen Duc Dung - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council approved the Draft Report on the assessment of the implementation of all aspects of work in the first 9 months of the year, and the deployment of key tasks for the last 3 months of 2024.

On the same afternoon, the conference discussed and gave opinions on the following contents: Summary of 3 years of implementing Resolution No. 15-NQ/TU, dated October 14, 2021, of the XXII Provincial Party Committee on strengthening Forest management, protection, and development in the province for the period 2021 - 2025, with a vision to 2030. Summary of 3 years of implementing Resolution No. 16-NQ/TU, dated October 14, 2021, of the XXII Provincial Party Committee on promoting administrative reform in the province for 2021 - 2025, with a vision to 2030. Summary 03 years of implementing Conclusion No. 91-KL/TU, dated October 14, 2021, of the XXII Provincial Party Committee on sustainable development of agriculture and rural areas associated with new rural construction in the province for the period 2021 - 2025, with a vision to 2030./.
